Customer Service

We all have customers – individuals or organizations to whom we provide products or services. These customers are either external, outside of our organization or internal, within our organizations. Quality customer service requires exceeding the expectations of these customers. As effective service providers, we need to know what our customers expect and how to exceed those expectations.

Communication

In this world of constant change, effective communication is a crucial skill set for everyone in the organization. Communication is the key to both success and failure – making or breaking relationships, team, or organizations. Poor communication reduces productivity, trust, and morale, whereas positive and respectful communication builds relationships and collaboration and increases productivity.

Dennis Higashiguchi

Dennis Higashiguchi is the Senior Manager of Consulting Services for N&K CPAs Inc.  An accomplished trainer and facilitator, Dennis has extensive experience in most aspects of training and facilitation. He has worked with numerous companies in Hawaii including state, federal and county government, retail, healthcare and construction.

Dennis started at N&K in February 2004.  He specializes in Corporate Training, Strategic Planning and Organizational Development Consulting.  Prior to joining N&K, Dennis owned his own management consulting practice.

Dennis has worked in the field of training and development since 1974.  He is a member of the American Society for Training and Development; the Association for Accounting Marketing; and former President of the Financial Education Association of Hawaii.

Dennis was born and raised in Hawaii.  He is married and he and his wife Kathleen have three grown children, three grandchildren, one great grandchild and a small dog Zoë.
