Dwayne Takeno

Dwayne S. Takeno - Principal, CPA, CGMA

Dwayne was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and graduated from Castle High School. He went on to attend the University of Southern California where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting and in 1997, he received his CPA certificate from the State of Hawaii.  In 2004, he received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.  He joined the firm as a principal of N&K in August 2014. Dwayne is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Assurance Services Division of the firm. Dwayne is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant.

His professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Hawaii Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Hawaii Board of Public Accountancy Peer Review Oversight Committee (Chair), Association of Government Accountants (Board Member), Lanakila Pacific (Treasurer and Board Member), CPAmerica International, Better Business Bureau of Hawaii (past Treasurer and Board Member), and Life Foundation (past Treasurer and Board Member).

In his free time, Dwayne enjoys cooking and traveling.
