Blake was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and graduated from Aiea High School. He went on to attend the University of Hawaii at Manoa where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He joined the firm in January 1999 and received his CPA certification from the State of Hawaii in 2002. Blake became a principal of N&K in January 2013 and became the managing principal in January 2018. Blake is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant.
His professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Hawaii Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce (Board Member), Boy Scouts of America Aloha Council (Board Member) and CPAmerica International. He is also a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Blake has over 19 years of public accounting experience and serves as principal in charge of clients requiring tax, accounting, management consulting, and audit services. Blake has performed audit, review and internal audit work along for various industries including:
