Ron T. Shiigi

Ron was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and is a graduate of McKinley High School. Upon graduation, he went on to attend the University of Hawaii at Manoa where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting. He started his career at N&K back in 1973 and was one of the original seven personnel working with Glenn Kishida. In that same year, he earned his CPA certificate from the State of Hawaii.

Ron became a principal of the firm in 1983 and oversees the work of the Audit Division. In 1996, he received a certificate as a Certified Government Financial Manager.

Ron is a member or several organizations such as the American Institute of CPAs, the Hawaii Society of CPAs, the Association of Government Accountants, and the Affordable Housing Association of CPAs.

Outside of the office, Ron likes to jog, work out at a fitness center, and play an occasional round of golf. He enjoys fine dining, is a connoisseur of fine wines, and likes classical music.
