Michael Tanaka is currently serving as the President Elect of the Hawaii Society of CPAs.

Promotions for January 2013

Ying Yan Chen, CPA, has been promoted to Senior Tax Manager in the firm’s Business and Tax Services Division. She received her CPA certificate in 2008.

Also promoted in the Business and Tax Services Division are Anna Itoh and Deanna Chan who are now Tax Seniors.

In the Assurance Services Division of the firm, Brent Asato, CPA, has been promoted to Audit Supervisor. Brent received his CPA certificate in 2011.

Three staff accountants were also promoted in the Assurance Services Division to Audit Seniors:  Darnell Mitamura, Genesis Roberto, and Kelli Makino.

Promotions for January 2012

N&K is proud to announce the following promotions as of January 1, 2012:

Promoted to Senior Tax Manager is Won Han, who has been with N&K since 2003. Prior to joining the firm, Won worked at a national CPA firm in California. Won earned her CPA certificate in 2004.

 Lai Ieng Yee has been promoted to Tax Manager. She joined the firm in 2005and received her CPA certificate in 2007.

In the audit division, Melissa Loy has been promoted to Audit Manager. Melissa joined N&K in 2005 and received her CPA certificate in 2009.

 Terence Mott has been promoted to Audit Supervisor. Terence joined the firm in 2009 and earned his CPA certificate in 2010.

 

Promoted to Audit Seniors are Chad Naganuma and Jordan Okimura. Both Chad and Jordan joined N&K in January 2011 and earned their CPA certificate in 2012.

And in the tax division, Maria Goto has been promoted to Tax Senior. Maria joined N&K in 2011 also received her CPA certificate in 2011.
